Hi. This is Jill Semau. Many of you remember the Bezuidenhout family in South Africa. We had a GoFundMe to help them get a used car a couple of years ago. Jakes and his family were in Youth With A Mission for 30+ years. Now they live once again in the community and do what they can to make ends meet. It is hard when a majority of their lives were given to serving in missions with no career to fall back on.

We are writing on behalf of Jamie Bezuidenhout -- Jakes' 20-year-old son. He recently recommitted his life to Jesus and has a lot of questions. He desires to grow in his relationship with Jesus -- to know and understand His character, His words, and His ways. He wants to discover what direction God has for him and live the life He has chosen for him. He knows without a doubt that the next step for him is to do a DTS (Discipleship Training School) with Youth With A Mission. It is five months and he would like to attend in Muizenberg, South Africa in September. Jamie lives just one hour away from this YWAM base.

To attend this YWAM course, Jamie needs our help. The three-month lecture phase costs $1750 US (R30,000). This includes room, board, and classes. We don't know the cost of the outreach phase yet, so we thought we could start with the $1750, then see how God provides from there.
