They are my chosen family and have not only been there for me but been there for my daughter. They are the strongest people I know, and even going through what they are going through, they continue to be a bright light. Jamie is my daughter’s PopPop and he is in end-stage heart failure. The doctors say he will need a new heart within the year, and they are comfortable money-wise, but they do not have the financial backing for this. They are incredible human beings and deserve the world. He is a veteran, so he not only served his country but he still continues to serve any way he can. He would take the shirt right off his back to anyone in need. He is being moved to Emory, and parking alone on a daily basis racks up, and his wife Christy (Gigi) wants to be close to him. They have children, one that lives on her own, but they also have one with special needs, so it isn’t ideal to be away from her. They also have 2 fur babies. I myself do not mind helping with the one daughter or the dogs, but they still need help financially. Please, please, help this family as they are my own and are such an important part of my life.
