Jamie is a hard working 34 year old, a dedicated father of 3 beautiful girls (one of which is newborn. April 21st ), and the best brother/son/friend you could ever ask for..

My brother has been battling with hereditary hemochromatosis for over a year. It’s a genetic disease where the body is not able to regulate its iron levels. Jamie had an iron over-load which had done damage to his liver. In the last month, things took an unimaginable turn. He suffered Life Threatening complications of the liver, as well as variceal hemorrhaging and internal bleeding, that was almost UNREPAIRABLE. St Cloud Centra hospital Saved his LIFE by placing variceal bands to the enlarged blood vessels around his esophagus to prevent and treat these ruptures. He had four blood transfusions because of all the blood he lost… This is his THIRD hospitalization of life threatening complications… Jamie was in a medical induced coma for OVER a week and was flown down to the U of M Saturday April 26th, where the doctors are more medically equipped to handle the severity of what is going on.

Jamie has a long road to recovery.. We have started this GoFundMe in hopes of providing him with some relief from the financial burden of being critically ill, and of being unable to work anytime soon.
