Hi everyone, as most of you know, I don't ask for help often, so when I do, you know it's needed tremendously. My name is Susie Elmore, and my niece Jamie Read was recently diagnosed with a form of Lupus called SLE, or Systemic Lupus Erythematosus. This disease is already making itself known by causing her kidneys to malfunction, her liver enzymes are through the roof and for no apparent reason (doctors are tirelessly trying to figure out) she has been spiking fevers. Her doctors have all decided she needs to go to OHSU in Portland, OR for further testing and treatment.

We are asking for your prayers and any help you're able to donate. Jamie will have to travel to OHSU and will have to rent a car, her car won't make the trip, she will need lodging and food and more than likely new medications.

With her immune system being compromised Jamie has had to stop working so her income has all but stopped.
