Support Jamie's Fight Against Stage 3 Cancer

Donation protected
****UPDATE JANUARY 13th 2025*****

I want to firstly begin by deeply apologizing for not keeping everyone updated the last few months. I reached a level of sickness that was beyond anything I could have ever imagined and for a while I got depressed and shut out the world.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart to everyone who has reached out to me in any way during this journey - your support has not only given me the ability to get through this with fewer worries and so much more love knowing I have all of you rooting for me.
And anyone who donated please know that YOU gave me the ability to afford my health insurance, to see my doctors, to pay their co pays and pay for my medications. Without you I would have gone to a stage three to terminal. THANK YOU I have no words for my gratitude towards your selflessness.

I wanted to share an update with you.
Since finishing Chemo & Radiation in September I requested another PET CT scan, in which of course my doctors and insurance companies fought with me about. But I advocated for myself and I got the scan done.

Results came in -
Three of the tumors that spread to my pelvic lymph nodes have completely cleared themselves.
My massive 7cm x 5cm x 5.4cm is now smaller than 1 cm
This means that I have still do have cancer, however my tumor responded extremely well to the treatments and I now still do have small tumor less than 1cm with active cancer cells.

After completing 6 rounds of Chemotherapy, Kerytruda & 25 rounds of External Radiation treatments I decided that my body needed a rest!!

So I took some time, did my own reaseach and I needed to step back from the western medicine approach to health for a little while. I just felt like I wasn't getting the answers to my questions answered nor my concerns taken into consideration.
I am lucky enough to have some wonderful friends who recommended an alternative medicine doctor located in Naples, Florida. She is a wonderful doctor and I'm so glad I have the opportunity to learn the perspective to her type medical approach. I still see my western medicine doctor but I felt that tackling this muti-prong direction wouldn't hurt at this point!
Her name is Dr. Nancy Vance, her practice is called Insight to Wellness. Dr. Vance has a different view on medicine than a traditional doctor. Her approach to medicine starts with the CAUSE of what is going on inside the body to try to understand why I had developed cancer at such a young age. She did extensive blood work testing to check all my vitamin and mineral levels as well as some other testing on my body that I was never introduced to before. She spent hours sitting and talking with me like a real person and not just someone she needed to get in and out of her office for the next person. She has decided the best way to continue my cancer maintenance.
Over the last three months I've been on a few holistic medications such as Ivermectin, Fenbendazole, along with many high dose vitamins and tinctures.
Since taking these I have definitely noticed a huge change in how I feel and how I've been healing. Not only am I on these supplements I also changed my diet. I've always been more towards the vegetarian side and so I eat much more fresh fruit, vegetables, juices & smoothies.

After much contemplation, I finally decided on going through the Brachytherapy that I had declined in October. It's now Monday January 13th and I will be hospitalized until Thursday because it is a four day procedure and this is the last part of my treatment. Then I will be considered officially done with the cervical cancer protocol for my diagnosis. The doctors say that this treatment will kill the rest of the cancer cells and the only way to know I'm in remission will be from a follow up scan that will be scheduled three months from now. Until then I will be working on recovering from this procedure. I'll also be looking for some part time work to begin, so if you or anyone you know in the Naples are needs anyone to help with anything a few times a week. My background is in general office management and HR, I have a real estate license, a reliable vehicle and a go getter mind set! Thanks for listening & watching if you actually go this far! :)

UPDATE *** Friday August 9th.

Jamie has completed her second full week of treatment.
That includes two rounds of Chemotherapy, Immunotherapy & 10 rounds of radiation.
After Jamies first round of Chemo, her body became very weak and wasn't responding well to the treatments. Her side effects have been.. due to her large cervical tumor is she expericening extremely heavy bleeding & clotting, head aches, dizziness, extreme fatigue, nausea, diarrhea, discomfort digesting foods, flu like symptoms. Unfortunately both her white and blood cell counts dropped to a dangerously low level. Her doctors have added iron infusions because iron levels are low, and this past Wednesday August 7th Jamie received her first blood transfusion. Luckily these treatments have helped her condition and she is at least feeling better. Unfortunately due to the situation her doctor has advised against her working throughout these treatments and for a few months after, while they monitor her vital levels, scans and progress with the treatments. Jamie is in great spirits and is super grateful for all of those who have reached out to her and have spread their love and prayers.

Jamie plans to start working with her doctors to help create an affordable test or scan that can be easily accessed by young men and women everywhere, the idea is that she will be advocating for an accessible testing process that is within the means of everyone no matter what. Through the pain and suffering Jamie has gone through, she never wants anyone else to be deprived healthcare. This project is very important to Jamie and when she is well, will be advocating for all walks of life when it comes to cancer prevention for everyone.

Donating to Jamies cause will help save her life at this point, and if we save her life, she is determined to help save others. This is a time to stick together. Any amount can help even if it's $1.
Jamie needs us now, and we need to come together to be there for her.

Thank you for all of your support.

Life can take unexpected turns, and sometimes those turns lead to unimaginable challenges.

Our family is facing devastating news of my sister’s stage 3 cervical cancer diagnosis.

Jamie, is a 34-year-old mother to her three-year-old daughter Julia. Originally from Framingham, Massachusetts. She grew up in Naples Florida & is a local real estate agent servicing the southwest Florida area. Jamie loves creating art with all mediums and traveling.

She began experiencing irregular bleeding & made an appointment for a routine checkup with her gynecologist on June 17th to further address the issue. Since that day the bleeding has only gotten heavier and the news more painful.

After a terrifying three weeks filled with various appointments for biopsy’s, PET CT Scans, CT scans, multiple trips to her gynecologic oncologist, the results came in, and no one in our family could ever have been ready for the news.

Jamie currently has a mass on her cervix measuring 7cm x 5cm x 5.4cm. The cancer is a stage 3, and has spread to her pelvic lymph nodes. At this point surgery is not an option due to the size, position & spreading of the tumor.

In the face of this harrowing reality, our priorities are clear: seeking treatment options and giving Jamie as much time as possible with us all.

We have a treatment plan for her that will start on Monday July 29th. She will go for four rounds of chemotherapy weekly, immunotherapy, 25 rounds of external radiation and a round of internal radiation which will include a three-day hospital stay where the doctors will implant radioactive seeds and other medications internally.

Jamie currently has Blue Cross Blue Sheild health coverage, however they are trying to deny her treatments aren't medically necessary. It is time we expose the health insurance companies and what their true motives are. We refuse to let financial worries hinder Jamie’s fight for her life or deprive her and her daughter of precious time together. Our goal is to ensure their comfort should the worst come.

While we can't erase Jamie’s pain, we can ease the financial burden and share and support her journey. Your generosity, no matter how small, can make a world of difference in this young Jamie's life. Thank you for your kindness, and please keep our family in your thoughts during this challenging time.
