I have been living with stage IV endometriosis for years, which has brought constant pain, infertility, and a range of difficult health issues. After trying many treatments, my surgeon has recommended a full hysterectomy, with the hope of keeping my ovaries if they are still viable. Because of my anatomy, I will need an old-fashioned abdominal incision, which means a longer and more difficult recovery. My surgery is scheduled for May 11, 2026, but there is a chance it could happen sooner if my surgeon has a cancellation.
I currently have no PTO and will need to take 4-6 weeks away from work to heal. This has created a lot of stress, as I worry about how I will cover the living and medical expenses during this time. The funds I raise will go directly toward rent, car payment, car insurance, phone bills, medication co-pays, and extra gas for hospital visits for my husband to drive back and forth. I will be in the hospital for up to two days after surgery, and your support will help me focus on healing instead of financial worries.
I am deeply grateful for any support, especially knowing that so many people are facing financial challenges right now. Whether you are able to donate or simply share my story, your kindness means the world to me. No donation is too small. Thank you for helping me through this difficult chapter.
