Support Jamie's Battle Against Neuroendocrine Cancer

Hi friends, family, neighbors, community and cool people. I am starting this campaign to help my sweet friend, Jamie. Jamie has been battling stage 4 Neuroendocrine Cancer that has metastasized to her liver. It has been a long bumpy road with many treatments. And now, she finally has a chance for a new special treatment, called Histotripsy. The cost of this treatment is an outrageous $50,000. I don't know about you, but most people I know don't have 50k laying around. Especially if you already have to spend a massive amount of money on ongoing medical treatments. Her insurance company DENIED paying for her treatment. Denied...the treatment? An insurance company is making medical decisions and is denying what a doctor has already approved as a treatment. This is crazy. In addition to medical treatment costs, the travel, hotel, time off work, co-pays and nonsense are just so much. Your support would be helping with all of these things. And taking a teensy bit of stress off her and her beautiful family.

Jamie is an amazing mother to 3 incredible children, plus 3 stepchildren! Her husband is awesome, and they are just the most lovable people you could ever know. This treatment could save Jamie from having to be cut open once again for liver resectioning, and potentially free her from the horrible effects of chemo and radiation, plus give her more healthy time to share her awesomeness with the world.
