Want to join me in making a difference?
Friday March 4th, a group of childhood friends & I will be running 4 miles every 4 hours for 48 hours. This is the 2nd annual race here with our friends.
I will be running in honor of my brother Jimmy Moreng, who passed away tragically 4 years ago in February at only. I’ll never forget him & the memories we had. Jimmy’s life was full of ups and downs. Graduate of Villanova, he suffered from bi polar disorder, obesity & mental health challenges that left him feeling incapable. That illness & doubt left him short of what I truly knew he was capable of, with no real outlet to solve his underlying issues.
I'm raising money to benefit North Jersey Friendship House, is a non-profit organization that I visited a short time before Jimmy’s death. I knew immediately their program and mission was best fit for individuals like Jimmy to get back up and running to live a thriving life filled with happiness, although it just never worked out for Jimmy to be a member. Their mission is to build the skills of individuals with varying abilities and developmental needs by providing, within a safe haven, comprehensive clinical treatment, vocational training and work opportunities in order to achieve meaningful and productive lives. The services provided by North Jersey Friendship House are designed to address the unique needs and goals of the individual.
2021 Goggins Result Splits: 8:40 per mile pace
2022 Goggins Goal: 7:59 per mile pace

This 4x4x48 run was established by David Goggins, who is a retired United States Navy SEAL and former United States Air Force Tactical Air Control Party member who served in the Iraq War. He overcame so much adversity in his life from abusive childhood to being obese, suffering depression & is a symbol for the slogan “anything is possible” if you look deep within yourself. If goggins can do it so can the loved ones suffering from pain and mental illness.
Any donation will help make an impact. Thanks in advance for your contribution to this cause that means so much to me & I know with raising funds we may be able to help people like my brother with mental illness, overcome adversity, illness & potentially steer to a life of fulfillment
