My name is Jamiere, and I am a 22-year-old recent college graduate. On August 30th, my world changed forever when my mother was tragically murdered outside our home. She was shot in her chest and neck, and in that moment, I lost not only my mom but also the sense of safety and stability we once had. Since then, I have taken on the responsibility of caring for my four younger siblings, who are 18, 10, 9, and 6 years old.
Every day, I do my best to provide for them and keep us together as a family. We are currently living in an environment that feels unsafe, and my greatest hope is to move us somewhere better, where my siblings can heal and have the chance to grow up without fear. The funds raised will mainly go to my siblings, with food and daily needs as the top priority, but also toward whatever decisions are best for them—whether that's bills, safety-related needs, or anything that helps them feel secure and cared for. My goal is to make sure they have what they need most, when they need it.
Anything you can give is deeply appreciated. My main goal is to help my siblings continue to grow and become great individuals, even in the face of such adversity. Your support means the world to us, and I am grateful for any help you can offer as we work to rebuild our lives.
