We are reaching out today to ask for your help for a dear friend who has given so much to the soul of our town.

As many of you know, Jamie Wallace is the rhythm and melody of our community. Through his work at Ernie King Music, Jamie has spent years ensuring that our lives are filled with song, providing the instruments, the expertise, and the encouragement that have helped so many of us find our own voices. Now, Jamie is facing a silent season that he cannot navigate alone.

Jamie has recently run into some serious health complications. Right now, the road ahead is paved with many unknowns. In times like these, the only way forward is to take things one day at a time, focusing entirely on healing and strength.

Because of these health challenges, Ernie King Music has had to close its doors. As Jamie focuses on his journey over the coming months, it is unclear when the shop will be able to resume regular business hours.

Jamie and his family are currently navigating a journey that is as emotionally taxing as it is uncertain. While Jamie focuses on the "one day at a time," we want to ensure that the "one day" isn't clouded by the stress of keeping the lights on or worrying about the mounting costs that come with a medical crisis and a closed business.

We are raising funds to:

Support the Family: Help Jamie and his loved ones cover daily living expenses and navigating the journey ahead.

Protect the Legacy: Assist with the overhead costs of the shop so that when Jamie is ready, the music can start playing again.

Offer Peace of Mind: Allow Jamie to focus 100% on his health without the weight of financial uncertainty.

Goderich and the surrounding music scene wouldn’t be the same without Jamie’s kindness and passion. He has always been the first to support local talent and keep the arts alive; now, it’s our turn to be the roadies for his recovery.
