Support Jamie Smith's Fight Against Cancer

My name is Sara Stahl,

I'm reaching out on behalf of my best friend, Jamie Smith, who is facing one of the hardest battles of her life.

On June 9th 2025, Jamie underwent surgery to remove part of her colon after being diagnosed with cancer. We recently learned during her follow-up appointment that the cancer has spread to her lymph nodes, and she has now been diagnosed with stage 3 cancer.

Jamie will be starting chemotherapy within the next two weeks and will have a port put in soon. This has been a life-altering and emotionally overwhelming time for Jamie and her family.

Her wife is her sole caregiver and provider, and unfortunately, due to a recent job change, their healthinsurance has not yet gone into effect. This means that all medical costs, travel expenses, and related needs are currently coming out of pocket-at a time when they should be focused on healing and support.

I'm asking for any help you can offer- whether it's a small donation to help with gas, meals, and bills, or simply sharing this page and keeping Jamie in your thoughts and prayers. Every bit truly makes a difference.
