For 18 years, Jamie Nowakowski has dedicated her life to caring for others as a nurse, a healer, and a friend. She has been a lifeline to countless patients, offering comfort, strength, and expertise in their most vulnerable moments. Now, Jamie is the one who needs our help.

In February 2025, Jamie’s life was turned upside down when she was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML)—a devastating and aggressive cancer. She is now in Danville Geisinger Medical Center, undergoing intensive treatment and at least a month-long hospitalization just to begin her battle against this disease.

A Loving Wife and Mother Facing the Unimaginable

Jamie is more than a nurse—she is a devoted wife and the loving mother of two beautiful daughters, Lindley (4) and Carolena (18 months). Her world revolves around her family, and being away from them during this fight is heartbreaking.

Jamie’s husband, Dan, has been by her side every step of the way, but with mounting medical bills, travel expenses, and the loss of income from her inability to work, the financial burden is overwhelming.
