Hello friends,
We are raising funds on behalf of Jamie (who many of you also know as Bluebell/MaroanaLove), as she navigates the overwhelming loss of her best friend, our dearest Charlie/@gooddaycharlie/@theimpishkid.
Jamie is a full-time student with a full-time job, commuting three hours each day, at minimum. In the midst of this demanding schedule, Jamie is experiencing the terrible loss of her best friend of 15 years, Charlie, who many of us considered family and a pillar of community. The weight of this loss is insurmountable for anyone to face alone.
Since Charlie's passing on January 25th, Jamie has been THE main point of communication for Charlie’s loved ones and across multiple fandoms/communities who Charlie deeply touched, as well as their close friends. She has been working tirelessly to help people connect, share information, and grieve together.
This GFM page is to support Jamie in the upcoming weeks so that they may take time to grieve, to rest, be fed, and tend to their mental and emotional well-being without the fear of falling behind on rent and bills. Your support helps cover basic living expenses and allows Jamie the space to start healing in this devastating time. It will also be used to help finance travel expenses, so that Jamie may support Ben and Charlie’s families with funeral/memorial services.

We do not wish to take away attention from the support and care needed for Charlie’s husband, Ben, who we love deeply; we are asking for additional support to one of the most selfless humans in our community during this time. Jamie has continued to hold so much, for so many of us, for so many years. They deserve to be held, too, especially now.
