Support Jamie Love's Recovery and Healing

Hi friends and family of our dear Jamie Love! As you may have heard, Jamie was recently involved in a horrific hate crime in West Hollywood. The perpetrator attacked Jamie with a baseball bat to the head while she was walking through a considerably “safe” residential neighborhood. The attack resulted in serious head injury but thankfully not fatal, she is under strict medical supervision for months to come. She suffered pretty serious pain and is unable to be outdoors much due to protecting her brain's equilibrium and her vision sensitivity.

There have been numerous doctor visits including CAT scans and other important protocols for head injuries like hers. She has been advised to stay on bed rest for at least three months to ensure proper healing time.

Now more than ever Jamie needs both our moral and financial support. She will be unable to work for the coming months and will need to have funds to cover her medical expenses and general living expenses. We all know how tough it is to survive in Los Angeles but even tougher when something as tragic as this takes you down. Jamie has been a bright light in our queer spaces for many years, not only as an iconic nightlife host and dancer but also as a rising singer and songwriter. Her charisma and charm will be missed while she is on the journey to better health.

Little is known about the perpetrator who attacked Jamie, but her story has gone viral across social platforms and news outlets have reached out to shed more light on this unsettling event. We as Jamie’s chosen family urge you to give from the heart and let others know what is going on. Let's protect Jamie and hopefully eliminate this from ever happening again!
