We are reaching out during one of the most difficult times our family has ever faced.

In mid-April, Jamie received the devastating news that he has a tumour in his right lung. Within days, further testing revealed that the cancer had already spread to both lungs, as well as his neck, stomach, liver, spine, hips, and tailbone. Everything has happened so fast, and we are still trying to process it all.

Despite the severity of his diagnosis, Jamie continues to show incredible strength. Recently, his condition took a sudden turn when his breathing worsened, and he was rushed to the hospital with dangerously low oxygen levels. He is now in the ICU being treated for pneumonia on top of his cancer.

Although his cancer is aggressive and incurable, doctors are working to keep him comfortable and manage his pain, with the possibility of radiation treatment. Through everything, Jamie remains true to himself — making jokes, staying positive, and fighting as hard as he can.

As you can imagine, this has placed an emotional and financial strain on Jamie and our family. We are asking for help to cover:

Medical-related expenses not covered by insurance

Travel costs for hospital visits and care

Home oxygen and medical equipment if he is able to return home

Daily living expenses during this incredibly difficult time
