Support Jamie Dalton's Recovery Journey

To begin, I would like to express my sincere gratitude for the opportunity to reach out to you all. If you are familiar with the Dalton Family, you are aware of their unwavering commitment to assisting others and their reluctance to accept help themselves. This is why I am reaching out to you today.

Hello all, my name is Mirecca Ward, and I am a long-time friend of Kristy Dalton’s. I can personally attest to the Dalton Family’s exceptional support and generosity. Without Kristy’s unwavering assistance, I am uncertain of how I would have navigated a particular life challenge . I am deeply grateful for the Dalton family’s friendship and support during times of need. I am confident that my testimony is just one of many that could be shared.

I have a strong passion for supporting the backbone of our communities, such as the Dalton family. As small business owners, they provide invaluable assets to our community and serve as the lifeblood of blue-collar workers.

Regrettably, the Dalton Family Tree Services and Excavation, a family-owned business, is at imminent risk of closure. Moreover, Jamie Dalton and his family are currently facing a profound financial and physical hardship.

On February 18th 2025, Jamie Dalton was involved in an auto accident that was not his fault. As a result, Jamie will be undergoing serious medical procedures on his neck and oral surgery. He will require treatment on C5-7 vertebrae, but the exact course of treatment remains uncertain. Jamie will need to visit Neurosurgical Associates in Knoxville, TN, for numerous consultations to determine his treatment options. Jamie and Kristy will incur substantial out-of-pocket medical expenses, travel costs, as well as their normal household expenses. Additionally, Jamie’s incapacitation from his injuries will prevent him from operating their small business for an indefinite period. This is a significant burden for Kristy and their 19-year-old son, Jameson, who works alongside his father.

Kristy will be consumed as a full-time caregiver to Jamie throughout his recovery, as currently he is under strict doctors’ orders to not lift anything over 2 pounds and has issues with some basic motor skills and is struggling with basic day-to-day tasks.

As insurance claims for lost wages, vehicle replacement, out-of-pocket medical expenses for immediate care, and continuing care are a long, drawn-out process, they don’t have time to wait out the system. This family needs our help immediately.
