Hi. This is Becky, Molly and Scottie Celestini, and we have created this GoFundMe to support our brother Jamie. What began as a trip to the doctor for some back pain, turned into an unthinkable diagnosis: Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL).

 

Jamie is currently in the hospital for chemotherapy. The doctors said they are going to be very aggressive with his treatments, hitting this thing hard and fast. Unfortunately, that means Jamie must remain in the hospital for the duration of this round of chemo. This stay may be the first of many, as the doctors told Jamie to plan on being under their treatment for at least the next year. While there are still many unknowns about his exact treatment plan, we do know one thing: JAMIE HAS A LONG, HARD FIGHT ahead of him to BEAT THIS THING. And that means a lot of time away from work for both him and Angie.

 

We love him so much and are going to do whatever we can to help him, Angie, Alayna, and Domenic get through this without worrying about these unexpected medical costs, as well as the daily life expenses that will not stop as this Leukemia fight goes on. Jamie’s already worrying about his family, and we want him to focus on kicking this thing’s ass, not dollar signs. So many people have been asking us how they can help/where they can donate, which is why we have created this page. From the mortgage and monthly bills, college tuition for Alayna, school/athletic expenses for Dom, home maintenance, gas money for the daily hospital drives, food, household essentials, vehicles, miscellaneous medical supplies and more — every little bit can help.

 

Those of you lucky enough to know Jamie know how awesome he is. Husband, father, son, brother, uncle, cousin, nephew, friend… he’s the best in every role. He’s an extremely hard worker and excels at a job he truly loves. The life of every party, Jamie constantly makes everyone laugh with his great stories and quick remarks. He’s always ready for a game of corn hole or bocce ball, is a devoted sports fan (especially the Lions, Spartans and fighting Irish), loves watching Dom play soccer and football, has perfected a Scottish accent...and can tailgate like nobody’s business. And you may not know it because he’s such a goof, but he also happens to be a history buff.
