Hello, 

My name is Jessica Grundmeyer and I am setting up this GoFundMe on behalf of my best friends, Jamie Pryde and Cameron Quenzer. In the middle of the night on December 17th, Jamie and Cameron experienced the unfathomable when a tree fell on their house during a wind and rain storm, crushing approximately 1/3 of their home. First responders from Clackamas County Fire Department responded on scene to turn off the power to prevent an electrical fire and helped them pack for temporary housing. It is a miracle that Jamie, Cameron, and their bird, Tiki, walked away alive and unharmed.

This has been one of the hardest years for Jamie and Cameron, as it has been filled with various forms of loss and tragedy. They have a long road of rebuilding, healing, and navigating the various traumas that come from experiencing, witnessing, and barely escaping this natural disaster. These funds will go towards supporting Jamie and Cameron with various expenses - food, counseling, expenses not covered by insurance, etc. - while their lives are turned upside down, and during the holiday season nonetheless. The financial support from the funds raised will be especially helpful as they currently only have one income to rely on due to an unexpected layoff earlier this year.

Jamie and Cameron recognize that current times have been extremely hard on everyone, and they understand that not everyone may be able to show their support by contributing financially. If you do have the ability to donate, I can guarantee that they will be immensely grateful. 

Jamie and Cameron are two of the most humble and selfless people I know. They have always found a way to support and give back to others, even during their own struggles. Despite all that they have been through, Jamie and Cameron remain hopeful, positive, and resilient.
