Help support Jamie Burgess in his fight against Leukemia

Hi, everyone. My name is Tyler, and I'm writing this on behalf of my dad, Jamie Burgess, who is courageously battling Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia (CLL/CSLL). Recently, his condition has worsened, with the cancer spreading to his lymph nodes in his bowel and colon.

What makes this situation even more heartbreaking is that my dad’s cancer was caused by the foam used in his CPAP machine. This foam, which was meant to reduce noise and vibration, can break down and release harmful particles and gases. When inhaled or swallowed, these particles can cause cancer and other severe health issues. This danger has affected many people like my dad, who relied on these machines to manage other health conditions.

Despite his courage and strength, this battle has been incredibly tough. Dad has exhausted all of his sick leave and vacation time and is now facing a difficult road ahead without any income. As a family, we are doing everything we can, but we need help to cover medical expenses, everyday living costs, and other unforeseen expenses that continue to arise.

My dad Jamie is a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend who has always been there to lend a hand and to support others in their time of need.
