Jamie Brown is my brother, and he's always been the kind of person who brings laughter and warmth to those lucky enough to know him. Growing up, Jamie was an exceptional athlete, excelling in both football and baseball. Some of my favorite memories are of us spending hours in the backyard—throwing the football, playing wiffle ball home run derby, or shooting hoops. We always found a way to compete, and those moments brought us closer together. Jamie is a kind soul who keeps to himself, but once you get to know him, he'll have you laughing until you're in tears. He's strong, resilient, and has always done his best to support our family, especially our mom, who he lives with now. Our father passed away from pancreatic cancer, so learning that Jamie has received the same diagnosis has been devastating for all of us. Our mom gets by on social security, and Jamie does what he can to help, but this diagnosis is going to be a huge financial burden. The stress of making ends meet while facing such a serious illness is overwhelming. We're reaching out for help because Jamie deserves the chance to focus on his fight against cancer without the constant worry about daily expenses.
