Jamie Becker otherwise known as Mom, Grand Mere’, Mamma B, Mama Becker, Ms. Jamie, and Caretaker of all; has hit some bumps in the road to her cancer battles. We are crowdfunding to offset costs to travel to and from chemo and radiation appointments and coverage for her stay at the hospitals hospitality house during her treatments!

She’s played an incredible role in my life personally caring for my Mom after my Dads unexpected death and while she battled to heal her own lungs. Now my mom is helping Jamie through the toughest battle while caretaking and being her live in support person both living on very limited funds. Jamie has been our emergency contact for life; caring for me and my sisters post births, being our surgical advocate and support personal through all things medical while simultaneously working as a full time surgical nurse at NHRMC and raising 3 incredible children of her own.

Her unique way of supporting families through some of the most intense medical experiences has always been a light in our families lives that we just wouldn’t have survived without having her by our side. Now she is fighting medically to survive for her grand babies and strives to make it to her daughter’s wedding next summer! Jamie is strong resilient and capable of accomplishing this goal with the support of her oncologist and care team!!

Right now we are searching for funding to cover the hospitality house at Chapel Hill, gas, and food for the duration of the treatment plan!
