Hello, my name is Kayla I am Jamie Strickland's youngest daughter and I have made this account on her behalf. We found out about 3 months ago that our mother has stage four lung cancer. By the time it was caught it had already spread to her bones. Over the course of these last few months things have progressively gotten worse. Her gallbladder failed before she could start any cancer treatments, she had to have four weeks too fully heal. It had also spread to her liver and in her brain. After the surgery she started to fall very ill; throwing up, nauseous with movement, couldn’t eat or drink water. She has been in the hospital for a few days now and will hopefully get out by thanksgiving but if not we will celebrate with her at the hospital. The doctors are saying her body is now too weak to handle any treatments, so they plan to set up home hospice to help make her comfortable until it is her time….

Any donations will go towards medical expenses, household expenses, and any expenses after she passes. This is a very hard time for us and anything will help. God bless.
