Support Jami and Baby Moses in Their Time of Need
Donation protected
Our dear Jami and her precious baby need our love, prayers, and support now more than ever. A devoted and independent 45-year-old mother of three daughters, Jami was overjoyed to learn in November 2024 that she and her partner were expecting a baby. This joyful news was soon overshadowed during a routine doctor’s visit when she received the heartbreaking diagnosis that her baby boy, Moses, has a rare and fatal condition known as Anencephaly. This condition prevents the cranium from fully forming around the brain, and doctors informed her that even if Moses survives the pregnancy and birth, his time on earth would be heartbreakingly brief.
For Jami, her partner Trent, and her three daughters, Kariss (17), Sophia (16), and Harper (12), this news turned their world upside down. But Jami, whose faith is unshakable, sought a second opinion and refused to lose hope for her beloved son. Sadly, in early January 2025, the diagnosis was confirmed, and the prayers for a different outcome did not change the heartbreaking reality. Yet, in an extraordinary act of courage, Jami chose to carry her son to full term, cherishing every precious moment she has with him, knowing she can protect and love him deeply during this time. To her, every day with Moses is an opportunity to remind him just how cherished, loved, and wanted he truly is.
Jami’s strength is nothing short of heroic, but her challenges extend beyond the deep grief she is facing. She works four jobs to provide for her family while raising her three daughters, and she will face the financial strain of taking time off work to heal from childbirth and the heavy burden of arranging a funeral for her beloved son.
Matthew 18:20 reminds us, “For where two or three gather in my name, there I am with them.” Now, more than ever, we can come together as friends, family, coworkers, and caring strangers to support Jami and her family. By offering meals, groceries, assistance with monthly expenses, or contributions towards a beautiful celebration of life for baby Moses, we can help ease their burdens. Every meal, gift card, or donation makes a meaningful difference, allowing Jami and her family to focus on Moses, their grief, and their journey to healing.
