My name is Bonnie and I am trying to raise money for my son who is in dire need of dental care! When James, my son, was 4 years old, he had to have every tooth in his mouth pulled! They replaced his teeth with tin teeth that were individually wired to his jawbone so that when his permanent teeth came in, he would lose a tooth! Not the normal tooth the tooth fairy expected to find. After years of dental work, we were told that there was a big chance that his teeth would again go bad and he would need dentures by the time he was in his 30s! Well, he is 47 now and his teeth have gotten way past the point of needing to be pulled! At this point, every tooth in his mouth is broken or has gotten so bad they have crumbled and fallen out! James is experiencing high blood pressure, chronic migraines, and to the point soggy cereal and soup are his main meals! He cannot even bite into a sandwich!

James is an awesome son, father, brother, uncle, and now a grandfather! He loves his family and they love him. But I cannot honestly tell you the last time I’ve seen my son smile! It’s probably been 20 plus years!

James is a hardworking man! He loves his job working for the City. But more than anything, James loves helping his community! He is a Volunteer Firefighter and just stepped down from being Chief of his department! He has also attended EMS classes and hopes to return! And through his pain, James recently fought a fire for over 24 hours among his fellow firefighters trying to save their community!

Please help me help James to #1 smile again! That sweet granddaughter needs to laugh and play with her grandpa! Help him to be healthy as the poison in his body could damage more than it’s already damaged, one being his heart! Help him to be pain-free and to be able to enjoy a good juicy hamburger. Did I mention he is a great chef! Grilling, making hot sauce, and burritos to sell at a community fundraiser!
