Support James's Journey to CHOP for Treatment

As many of you are aware, our heart warrior, James, is back in the hospital. Since his most recent surgery this summer, he has struggled off and on with fluid around his lungs. This fluid appears to be a leak in his lymphatic system, a complication from his many surgeries in the short 4 1/2 years of his life.

The lymphatic system plays a crucial role in the body's immune and circulatory system. This has now been complicated by RSV. James's amazing care team at Albany Med have just about exhausted all treatment options locally and are planning to transfer him within the next week to Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) for further testing and treatment.

Michael and Casey are doing everything possible to get James the medical care that he needs. However, the costs are mounting and now Casey is out of work. We have set up the GoFundMe to help cover expenses that will likely incur over the next coming weeks (housing, groceries, gas money, day care, etc.). If you are able to contribute, no matter how small, it would mean the world to Michael and Casey.

Any unused money will be donated to the American Heart Association. We appreciate all of your love and support during this time of need. Michael and Casey will continue to keep everyone updated on how James continues to fight his fight.
