James was a proud veteran who dedicated his life to his minor children, Jayden and Adrianna. After serving his country, James faced the difficult challenge of living with PTSD, which led to a period where his minor children needed extra support and entered the Kansas foster care system. During this time, we built a close relationship with James and his kids, witnessing firsthand his determination to rebuild his family. Through hard work, securing stable housing, and managing his health, James was able to reunite with his minor children and create a loving home.
James's journey didn't stop there. He became a passionate advocate for other fathers working to regain custody of their children, earning recognition from the Governor of Kansas for his dedication to family reunification. Recently remarried, James and his wife Irma worked together to provide a stable home for Jayden and Adrianna, who are both now students at Turner High School and planning to follow in their father's footsteps by joining the military.
Tragically, James passed away on November 25, 2025. His family is now facing the overwhelming challenge of covering funeral expenses. With James on disability and Irma working as a waitress, the family is struggling to make ends meet. Both Jayden and Adrianna are balancing jobs with their studies, and all are draining their savings to pay for the funeral. We want to help ease their burden and give the community a chance to support this remarkable family. If you knew Jayden and Adrianna or were touched by James's story, please consider contributing. Your support will help honor James's memory and provide much-needed relief to his loved ones.
