UPDATE- Jameson has recently received an arm. Unfortunately though it is not finished. This arm is only a prototype or first version rough draft if you will. The other problem is the hand attachment specifically for him has been on back order. Meaning the team was unable to get it done in one week. We are in need of a second week to finish the arm and to receive “his” actual hand. This second week was not in the original plans or budget.
But on the bright side! For the time being, were able to take home his prototype arm with a loner hand. This has allowed him to practice with it and learn all the cool hand movements! So he is well on his way!
Again, this next appointment cost is not fully covered. So thank you to anyone that can donate to help get us across the finish line. We appreciate you all!
And a side note: Jameson
did such a great job working with his team for five long straight days! I have included a video. So again any little bit helps. Sincerely, the Davis Family❤️

Hi my name is Jameson Davis. I am 12 years old. My parents Jim and Brooke are helping me fundraise so that I can get one prosthetic arm with a full articulating hand.

I need this arm because I was born missing both of mine below the elbow. I have had prostheses before, but never with a working hand and fingers. I have no idea what it feels like to have fingers or hands. I have always wished for them. I am a really cool kid and I’m great at many things, but there are everyday tasks that are very hard for me and then I have to go ask for help. I want to be able to open doors, my locker at school and zip my backpack. One day I want to drive, wear a ring, pinch someone, hold stuff with one hand, so many things.:)

My parents have worked very hard to help me get through things without arms. They started my prosthetics journey at 4 months old and found the best team who work specifically for people missing arms! I will be in the 7th grade next year and have not had a prosthetic for the last 3 years. We are in need of this team again but sad to say our insurance will not cover all costs. My parents even had to battle that insurance company in court, to prove that at least one prosthetic arm and hand was an important medical need for me. It took 7 months and during that time my dad also lost his job so things have been hard.

After all that though I have finally been approved to have an appointment with my prosthetic team and we will need to travel back to Oregon for this. Again this approval does not cover all the costs for me.

My parents always help me, and always will, but I want to be independent. Now that I am growing up, I have big dreams of being able to do everyday life activities all on my own. So here I am asking for any help. Every little bit helps so so much.

This new prosthesis would change my life, I would be able to help myself do more on my own!

Thank you! Sincerely Jameson Cruz Davis

This is an appointment that we will need to get done for Jameson this coming July. The medical insurance will only approve this for a short window of time. Thank you for any assistance, we appreciate you all. ♥️
