Support James Sharpley's Brain Cancer Battle

Today, my big brother, James Sharpley, is undergoing brain surgery to have a tumor removed. It is a a very serious situation with likely life-changing outcomes. We know he will have a long recovery period and he may never be able to return to work...God willing he will heal in time.

If you know Jim, you know he has more love and generosity, spirit and humor, good will and gratitude, than just about anyone. Whether he gave you the greatest gift, the biggest tip, the most loving hug, made you smile with a magic trick or joke, or jumped out and scared the you know what out of you, Jim always shares and shows his love for people.

Before he went into surgery we had important conversations about life and his wishes if things don't go well. I asked him to make a video with a message for his loved ones...just in case. A small excerpt says it all, "I do know one thing, I am a man who is filled with a lot of love. I have a lot of love in my heart and when you spread your love, it comes back to you tenfold...I want to let you in on a little secret, to make someone happy is the greatest feeling in the world, I love it."

I wanted to start this fund so that Jim can focus on his recovery without worrying or making hard choices about his health and care because of finances. He is a humble man with modest needs and now is a time, more than ever, for us to come together for him in prayer, love and support.
