On October 29, 2025, the lives of James Rudzki’s family and friends were changed forever. James was tragically killed while doing what he loved—working as a Lineman. His sudden passing has left a deep void in the hearts of everyone who knew him.

In the wake of this tragedy, James’s loved ones have had to pause everything to focus on funeral arrangements and the overwhelming responsibilities that come with such a loss. We are starting this fundraiser to help ease the financial burden during this incredibly difficult time—covering funeral costs, bills, and other unexpected expenses—so the family can focus on grieving and honoring James’s memory.

To know James—or “Caddy,” “Rudzki” as many affectionately called him—was to know joy. He had a way of lighting up any room he walked into. No matter what he was going through personally, he always showed up for his friends and family with a smile and a helping hand.

James leaves behind his loving mother, his devoted longtime girlfriend Destiney, his precious daughter Rilynn, two sisters, three brothers, and countless friends. Just days before the accident, James and Destiney were getting ready to move into their forever home—a dream they had worked so hard to achieve. He was planning to marry Destiney and expand their beautiful family.

James had so many dreams, and he was actively building a future filled with love, laughter, and stability. Let’s come together to support the people he loved most, just as he would have done for any of us.
