Support James Rose’s Heart Failure

Donation protected
Hello everyone, We are Jim and Stephanie Rose. We are reaching out to our friends, family, and anyone else who may be able to help. Our son James Rose III has come upon one of the most difficult times in his life. He has been diagnosed with Systolic Heart Failure, a condition in which his heart’s ability to pump blood efficiently is severely weakened. This means his body isn’t getting enough oxygen-rich blood to function properly, leaving him constantly exhausted, short of breath, and unable to do the things he once took for granted. Currently his heart is functioning at 24% while normal function is around 80%. His doctors have made it clear: He needs to stop working, focus on his health, eat a heart-healthy diet, and get plenty of rest. He will soon be receiving a defibrillator implant, and this will also send results to his cardiologist about his heart/progress. He is also being placed on the heart transplant list, just as a proactive measure in case the defibrillator is not successful, because it is a long and arduous process of getting on the transplant list.

A Life of Strength and Determination

From the time he was a baby, he has been a fun-loving, adventurous boy/man who embraced life to the fullest. He has faced his fair share of challenges—life hasn’t always been easy- but he has always believed in getting back up, dusting himself off, and moving forward with determination. No matter how tough things got, he found a way to push through, always meeting life head-on, taking the bull by the horns. His sense of humor is just the same, always looking for the fun things in every situation. He believes that if life hands you lemons, get out the sign-making material, table, and chair because he's going to sell some lemonade.

But this time, things are different. He finds himself struggling to get back up. His body won’t allow him to push through the way he used to, and the financial strain of being unable to work has only made things harder. While his medical treatments and medications are covered, his everyday living expenses are not, and without an income, he's finding it incredibly difficult to stay afloat.

Why He Needs Your Support

The financial burden he's facing isn’t from medical bills—it’s from the basic costs of living that many of us don’t think twice about until we’re unable to work. Things like:

Rent & Utilities – Keeping a roof over his head and the lights on.
Groceries & Nutrition – Maintaining a heart-healthy diet can be expensive.
Transportation Costs – Getting to and from doctor appointments and treatments.
Daily Necessities – Hygiene products, household supplies, and other essentials.
These are the things that are weighing on his shoulders right now, and it’s hard to focus on his health when he's constantly worrying about making ends meet.

How You Can Help

We, his parents, are humbly asking for any support you can give, whether it’s a donation or simply sharing his story. Every bit of kindness, every dollar, and every share helps more than you know. Your generosity will allow him to focus on what truly matters—getting stronger, preparing for his defibrillator implant, and eventually, if truly needed, a heart transplant.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for your love, support, and prayers. We are beyond grateful for any help you can provide.
We know that God has a reason for all He does, and it is for us to trust and have faith in Him, "For all things work towards the glory of God" Romans 8:28
With gratitude,

Jim and Stephanie Rose
