Support James' recovery & new situation (It's a good one!)

Hi.

Those of you that know me know that, back in the beginning of March, I was hospitalized for an infection bad enough that I had to be put in a medically-induced coma. One from which doctors felt pessimistic about my chances from emerging.
I did, of course, emerge, and spent the next few weeks first in the ICU, then in a normal (if tiny) hospital room, then in rehab to learn to do things like walk again. Finally, in April, I was home again.
During my time in the hospital, my brothers came in from out of state to look over me along with my boyfriend Celeste. While it was definitely good to have the presence of both Brian and Ed there, it was Celeste who kept me going, even during particularly dark times in my journey.
During my time in rehab, Celeste and I discussed him moving in to my apartment. He would benefit (air conditioning, access to Langston, the best cat in the whole world), and I would benefit (having someone I love around who could help me in medical situations, and help in general while I've been rebuilding my ability to walk).
Last month Celeste did, in fact, move in, and I think I can say without fear of contradiction, it's been a positive thing for both of us.
But moving in was considerably more of a financial issue than I thought it was going to be. Don't get me wrong; I had money saved for just such a thing, but as expense turned into more expense turned into even more expense, I found myself in deeper waters than expected.
So that, and, quite frankly, the current political regime making damn near everything more and more expensive, is making me reach out. It's something I'm loathe to do, but it has become something of a necessity.
So … If you can help monetarily, I thank you in advance. If not, even just some well-wishes wouldn't go amiss.
