Support James Pickett and family through cancer & crisis

James and I are still in Spokane.

He has declined surgery, and as of Friday afternoon he was transferred to the Hospice House in Spokane, WA. Thank you to everyone who has supported and prayed for our family.

James is being life-flighted to Spokane

again to see a surgical oncologist.

Update: James is in very critical condition.

James is currently in ICU at St. Mary’s in Walla Walla. He will be transferred to another facility if they think there is any more treatment they can provide. Please pray.

My sweetheart and father to our 13 month old son Jackson, James Pickett, 46, went into the ER for what we thought was a slight issue.

Instead, we were informed James needed emergency surgery on his colon.

The exploratory surgery to remove part of his colon, led to the discovery that James has stage 4 cancer. The cancer has already spread throughout his colon and beyond. It has now been over a month, and we are already on our third hospital stay.

James was Life-flighted to Sacred Heart in Spokane and we have been burdened with traveling expenses as well. James has been battling infection after infection after surgery so nothing else, treatment wise, can be done thus far.

James is a hard working, family man, who spent the last three years of his life becoming an O2 Electrican. He obtained his license just at the end of March and going into this had no insurance, and has no life insurance or savings.

Our little family of three, James, myself, and our one-year-old son Jackson are already struggling greatly with monthly expenses, hospital stays and traveling/food expenses and this is still a long road ahead.

James has been the sole provider financially.
