Our mother, Lucy, my siblings, and I are coming together to share the story of our father, James Munoz , who was diagnosed with colorectal cancer in January of this year. Anyone who has met our dad or grown up around him knows that he has always been the kind of man who puts everyone else’s needs above his own. If he was in pain or feeling sick, he would never show it—he simply didn’t want anyone to feel sorry for him. Growing up, we watched our dad make countless sacrifices to take care of our family, always putting others before himself. His strength, generosity, and selflessness have shaped who we are, and we are incredibly proud to call him our father.
Now, we find ourselves asking for help as our father faces the hardest fight of his life. He is currently undergoing multiple consultations, and the planning and mapping of his treatment are underway. Over the next few months, he will need to undergo chemotherapy and radiation. It’s going to be a long and difficult road, but we know that our dad is a fighter, and with the love and support of our family, he will keep pushing forward.
The financial burden of medical bills and expenses that aren’t covered by insurance is one of the biggest challenges we are facing right now. Our request is simple: if you are able, we ask for your support to help cover these medical expenses. No donation is too small, and every little bit is a blessing. Your help will allow our dad to focus on his health and recovery, knowing that we have the support of our friends and family and those who have crossed paths with our father.
Even if you are unable to contribute financially, we ask that you keep our father in your thoughts and prayers. The power of prayer and positive energy can work wonders, and we know that your kindness, no matter how it is offered, will make a meaningful difference in this journey.
If you are able to share this campaign with others, it would mean the world to us. Spreading the word can help us reach more people who might be able to support us during this challenging time. The more people who know, the more prayers and contributions we can gather, and we are incredibly grateful for any help in getting the word out.
From the bottom of our hearts, we thank you for your support. Whether you donate, share, or send a prayer, your generosity and love mean the world to us. Our father has always been there for others—now, it’s our turn to be there for him.
With love and gratitude,
The Munoz Family (Lucy, Children, Grandchildren, and Great-Grandchildren)
