Support James Modlin's Medical Recovery

UPDATE: We are so grateful for your incredible support! Your generous donations and especially the prayers, kind words, and positive support have helped so tremendously.

James is home now, and making progress. He is able to feed himself, and his arms are getting stronger. He is even doing leg presses in bed! We are pushing for his complete recovery.

At the present, he and Amy are struggling financially and emotionally. Amy is especially under a load of stress. They are struggling without Jame's income, and his necessary prescriptions are very costly and not completely covered by his insurance. Amy is working and acting as his sole caregiver (apart from short nurse visits a couple of times a week) and the strain is really wearing on her.

My name is Sherry, and I'm raising funds for my dear son-in-law's medical expenses. After having a herniated disk for some time, he had increasing pain, and on Saturday night he started experiencing more and more numbness until he collapsed. He was rushed to the hospital where he had surgery. Since his surgery, he has remained paralyzed from the sternum down. He is having some severe nerve pain, and the prognosis for him recovering movement is currently unknown. Due to a job change, he is currently without health insurance.
