Support James' Medical School Journey
Donation protected
During my last medical trip to Kenya, I met a young surgical assistant named James (22), who became a very good friend of mine. After suffering a near-death accident and being cared for by the neurosurgical team, James decided that he wanted to become a neurosurgeon. Learning this, I invited James to join all of our neurosurgical cases. This created a very strong bond between us, and he took me to his parents' house where I got to meet his family.
Due to his poverty, James cannot afford medical school. As someone who has aspired to become a surgeon since I was little, it was heartbreaking to imagine myself in James' shoes, unable to accomplish my dream due to educational costs. After seeing his ambition and strong desire to help his community, and realizing how blessed I have been in my own life, I have committed to helping fund his education.
I've created this page in case anyone else wants to donate to James' medical journey. Everything is appreciated!
