It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Mr. James Kitenda Kigambo, who left this world on March 7, 2025, at Lowell General Hospital. James was a beloved father, son, brother, and friend who touched the lives of many. He is survived by his three children, Athanasios John Wasswa, Hellen Nakato, and Margaret Nakayima, and their mother, Robinah Kabagenyi, along with his cherished grandchildren.

James was born to Florence Kyeswa of Kalagi, Mukono, and leaves behind a supportive family, including his siblings Alice Nabweteme, Robinah Kyesswa, Rebecca Najjuko, Dhespina Bawubya, Agnes Nannozi, Harriet Kirembe, Micheal Dane Kitenda, Fortios Pele, and Marina Senfuma, all residing in the Boston area. He was predeceased by his younger brother, the late George Bwetwayise.

James's legacy lives on through his many nieces, nephews, and friends who will forever remember him for his kindness, humor, and unwavering spirit.

As we navigate this difficult time, we are reaching out for support to help cover the costs associated with repatriating James back to Uganda for burial and to honor his memory. Any contributions will assist the family during this challenging period and allow us to give James the send-off he deserves.
