Our little boy (14 years young) was just diagnosed with liver cancer. Unfortunately it may seem that he doesn’t have much time left. But we are not quitters, we are fighters! Those of you who know us well, know we spend a lot of time traversing the country chasing our God-given dreams. Having these companions with us has brought us much comfort especially since we have been waiting to adopt our own human kids some day. We are raising money here so we can give him his best shot of survival. He’s a pretty resilient guy. We adopted him and his sister Esther (still going strong) in Hollywood from a shelter. They survived pan-leuk as kids and have been wonderful siblings to each other. To see them play and grow together has been one of the defining achievements of our marriage & they’ve always been there. We never imagined one of them parting each other or us prematurely and the disease came on suddenly. Any donation helps us fight under a vet’s counsel, explore naturopathic solutions and do palliative care while giving him a dignified last chapter.
