Support James Cullen’s Cancer Battle

In October 2024 after a routine physical (then further medical testing) our dad, James, was diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma, which is a cancer of the bone marrow. It quickly developed in the blood with the additional diagnosis of Leukemia. This all came as a complete surprise and instant change for our family.

After completing the initial 6 month infusion therapy treatment, James is now beginning the bone marrow transplant away from home. After approximately one month of treatment at the Moffitt Cancer Center he will be able to return home and will need to isolate for 60 days before traveling back to Moffitt cancer center for further evaluation and the long-term maintenance plan including chemotherapy, infusion medication, etc.

The treatment itself will cost upwards of $50,000. This will be an ongoing process for the rest of his life with co-pays, deductibles, out of pocket expenses, hotel stays when having to travel for additional testing and treatment as well as keeping up with the household expenses.

Our family is managing as best we can; however, the financial and emotional challenges we’re facing are significant.
