On December 1, 2025, James Booton, devoted husband, father, and Grampy, was diagnosed with lung and brain cancer.

James resides in Florida, but was vacationing with one of his two sons in San Diego, California, when the cancer was discovered. Currently, James is still in the hospital undergoing tests in California, and preparing for a long road ahead of treatments.

This week we learned that he will not be able to board a flight home to Florida, due to the dangers of the pressure changes affecting the tumors in his brain. Therefore, we are facing many decisions ahead, including how to eventually get him home safely, which will most likely be by train.

I know things are tough financially for all right now, but if you are able to donate, even a little bit, to help offset the hospital stay, cancer treatments, travel, and any other medical expenses that are upcoming, it would forever be appreciated.
