James Bland.

On August 20th, 2024, James severely injured his chest and arm muscles while volunteering, doing what he loves- passionately teaching the younger generation of wrestlers as head wrestling coach for Avon Park High School.

Unfortunately, his injury is requiring James to take a leave of absence for up to 6 months from work.

James consistently works tirelessly overtime as an operating room nurse for Advent Health to support his wife and 5 children. Colleagues would tell you that besides his infectious smile, he is passionate about his work, always helping others, is an extremely hard worker, encompasses a kind soul--and a FANTASTIC nurse!
