That’s how much of Jamar’s heart is functioning right now.

On February 20th, our world changed. Jamar was hospitalized and diagnosed with congestive heart failure. After days of extensive testing, doctors confirmed the unimaginable …..his heart is operating at only 15%.

During his stay, doctors determined he needed a defibrillator implanted to protect him from sudden cardiac arrest. The procedure was critical, and we are incredibly thankful it was successful…..but it marks the beginning of a long and fragile recovery.

Jamar will be out of work for at least six weeks while his body heals. Right now, his focus must be on recovery: regaining strength, attending follow up appointments, managing new medications, and beginning cardiac rehabilitation.

If you know Jamar, you know his heart , even at 15% , is full of love. He is a devoted partner, a present father to three beautiful children, and a man who has always worked hard to provide for his family.

We are asking for support so Jamar can focus fully on healing without the overwhelming financial strain. Funds raised will go toward hospital and surgical bills, lifesaving medications, cardiology follow-ups, required cardiac rehabilitation, and basic household expenses during this time away from work.

This season has been heavy for our family, but we believe healing is possible through faith, community, and support.
