Hey I’m April Wilson, the sister of Jamal Wilson. On October 29, 2024 my brother was severely beaten at Elmore State Prison. We were notified about his injuries by an inmate and not by the prison. After calling several times they finally gave us a call back that he was on a ventilator. Sadly Jamal succumbed from his injuries on November 1st.

After the passing of our mother his insurance lapsed and we weren’t able to get him insured.

Jamal leaves behind 2 young boys.

We the family wants to give him a proper burial but we need assistance. No amount is to small.
