Jamaine Kipenzi is a 16-year-old basketball talent currently living in Tanzania. Despite his young age, he already stands at 194 cm and is widely recognized for his exceptional athletic ability, discipline, and commitment to the game.

Jamaine attends Braeburn International School in Arusha, where his basketball coach, Mr. Masoudi, has confirmed that Jamaine has the potential to develop into a professional basketball player. His strengths include a strong winning mentality, high basketball IQ, disciplined gameplay, outstanding defensive skills, and excellent teamwork. These qualities were especially evident during the final of a national high school basketball tournament, where Jamaine delivered an impressive performance against top competition.

Although Jamaine performed exceptionally well during national youth selection trials, he was not selected for the Tanzanian U16 team. This decision was unrelated to performance and reflects challenges that young athletes in the region often face. Despite this setback, Jamaine has remained highly motivated and focused on developing his talent.

Braeburn International School has established connections with international talent development programs, including basketball camps associated with the Dallas Mavericks. In July 2026 (10–19 July), the Dallas Mavericks Hoop Basketball Camp will take place in Dallas, USA. This prestigious camp offers intensive training, professional coaching, and exposure to high-level basketball development programs. Participation can open doors to future college basketball opportunities and potential scholarships.

Jamaine has been selected by Braeburn International School to participate in this camp. However, the total cost of the trip—including flights, camp fees, accommodation, insurance, and related expenses—amounts to approximately €6,000.

Why Support Is Needed

This fundraiser aims to raise €6,000 to cover the costs required for Jamaine to attend this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. Donations will be used solely to support his participation in the basketball development program and related travel expenses.

Supporters are encouraged to donate a suggested minimum of €100, though any contribution is greatly appreciated. Every donation goes directly toward helping Jamaine access professional-level training and take a meaningful step toward his basketball future.
