Help Rebuild Lives After the Hurricane in Jamaica

Hello everyone,

My name is Chovell Brown, and I’m reaching out with a heavy heart on behalf of my family and community in Jamaica, who were deeply affected by the recent hurricane that tore through our island.

The storm brought unimaginable destruction — homes were flooded, roofs were ripped off, and many families lost everything they worked so hard to build. Entire communities have been left without electricity, clean water, or access to basic necessities. The roads are blocked, crops have been destroyed, and many people are struggling just to find food and shelter.

My own family’s home was severely damaged — our roof collapsed under the strong winds, and most of our belongings were destroyed by the rain. We are thankful that they are alive, but they're now faced with the difficult task of rebuilding from scratch.

This GoFundMe has been created to raise funds to help:

Rebuild damaged homes and roofs

Provide food, clean water, and emergency supplies to mine and other families in need

Support children and the elderly who were displaced by the storm

Assist neighbors with repairing community structures such as schools and churches

Every dollar will go directly toward recovery efforts in our community. Even the smallest donation makes a huge difference in helping families get back on their feet.
