It's been three days since Jamaica faced one of the most powerful storms recorded in history. The destructive winds and rains made landfall on Tuesday, October 28th, as a deadly Category 5 hurricane.

While some members of the community were blessed to have their homes and personal property spared, many members of the community suffer crippling losses from the storm. The foundations of houses throughout west-central Jamaica are critically damaged from strong winds and rising water. Many roofs have been destroyed, and power has not yet been restored in the wake of the massive storm surge.
