Support Our Jamaican Team Family After Hurricane Melissa

At Route 66 Restaurant in Bar Harbor, our Jamaican team members are truly the heart and soul of our operations. Many have been part of our family for five years or more—returning season after season with dedication, talent, and a spirit that lifts our entire team and guest experience.

They travel far from home—leaving behind spouses, children, siblings, and parents—to work hard and build better lives for their families in Jamaica. Now, many of them are facing unimaginable hardship. Hurricane Melissa has devastated parts of Jamaica, and several of our team members have lost their homes or suffered severe property damage.

In Jamaica, insurance coverage is rare, and rebuilding supplies are already limited and quickly rising in price. We want to help them recover and rebuild—just as they’ve supported us season after season.

Every donation, no matter the size, will go directly to assisting our Jamaican team members affected by this disaster. Your generosity will help provide essential support—materials, shelter, and hope—as they begin the long road to recovery.

Our team has always shown strength, faith, and resilience. Now, they need our support more than ever.

Thank you for helping us take care of the people who take such great care of all of us.
