On Tuesday, October 28, one of the strongest Atlantic hurricanes on record hit Jamaica, devastating many parts of the island and causing significant damage. Several days later, many Jamaicans are still without water, gas or electricity, including our family members who live in the St. Elizabeth Parish.
The roof one family member's house was especially badly damaged, leaving parts of the house exposed to the elements and unsafe to live in.
We’re raising funds to help repair the roof and restore his home, in addition to replacing any items that may have been damaged by water and strong winds. Every contribution — no matter how small — will go directly toward purchasing materials, hiring local builders and supporting the recovery process.
To all our family and friends: we're grateful for your generosity, your prayers and your willingness to help rebuild.
Thank you in advance for your support and for extending financial resources during a time of great need.
