After our yoga retreat in Jamaica, the three of us found ourselves unexpectedly stranded due to unforeseen circumstances. During this stressful and uncertain time, three incredible staff members—and one of their 10-year-old daughters—volunteered to stay behind with us to ensure we were safe and cared for.

These amazing individuals have shown us nothing but kindness, generosity, and love despite facing unimaginable hardship themselves. Over and over, telling us to trust in God and that we would all be ok. Their families have lost their homes completely, yet their spirits remain strong and selfless.

Now, it’s our turn to give back. We are raising funds to help these families rebuild their lives and recover from this devastating loss. Every contribution, no matter the size, will make a real difference in helping them find stability, comfort, and hope again.

Since the donations are in US dollars, I will be receiving the donations to my account. I plan to wire a majority of the funds to Jermaine who helped keep us safe. Jermaine and his mom lost their home to the hurricane and we want to support them as much as we can. The remaining funds will go to Silent Waters. This is the Villa we stayed at, and we want to make sure they can rebuild and continue to pay the staff.
