Story:

Hello, my name is Jamaal Mayberry, and I’m reaching out with a humble heart during one of the most challenging chapters of my life.

I am currently under Palliative Care for Congestive Heart Failure, Ascites, Renal Failure, Pyoderma and Hypotension. I moved to Houston in January 2025 with my mother, as I could no longer take care of myself with these chronic illnesses. I’ve always worked hard to support myself and those around me. But now, my health has declined to the point where I can no longer work, and the financial strain has become too much to bear alone.

Palliative care focuses on comfort and quality of life—but unfortunately, it doesn’t ease the burden of medical bills, medications, housing, utilities, and daily necessities. Each day comes with physical and emotional challenges, and the stress of unpaid expenses only makes it harder.

I’m turning to this community for help. Your donation, no matter the amount, will help cover:
