Support J.A.M Viet Kitchen's Recovery Efforts

Hi everyone,

I am Chef Lena Le (owner of Lena’s Asian Kitchen). I am doing this fundraising for Chef Jimmy - owner of J.A.M Viet Kitchen who was affected by Hurricane Beryl the most, that it has been over 1 month, and they have not yet had power.

As a small business owner, I understand the struggle when you lose the daily revenue, even when its 1-2 days, it’ll hurt your business, let alone 1 month (that’s losing not only $50,000+ plus in revenue, but also losing out of pocket Rent & Labor Cost & Food Cost).

I am waiting until the day that J.A.M has its power back so we all can go support him, but what if that day won’t happen anytime soon? Will Jimmy’s staff stay & wait without work? Will the restaurant be opened again??
